CHINA & JAPAN 2007

Went to China for almost 3 weeks. Met up with Nieve in Beijing who'd already been there for 3 weeks in a touring Landscape Architecture class. Too many stories to tell, so I made a photo viewer with comments HERE. We visited Beijing, Chongquing, the Yangtze River, Yichang, Guangzhou and Hong Kong as well as several other small towns. We also got a couple days in Tokyo on the way back. Hard to play down the incredible experiences and amazing people we met on this trip.

6.9.07 - COLLABRO - This continuing show is opening in NY, New York this weekend at The Showroom (Toy Tokyo and Thunderdog Studios gallery). I created a piece with Jim Darling for the exhibit.

7.7.07 - CORDIALLY INVITED - Group show at Never Ender in my hometown of Reno, NV. The invited artists were asked to each invite someone themselves, so I got my good homey Lesley Reppeteaux jumped in the gang.

6.2.07 - RE:MISSION - This show at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, CA generated over $5000 (Hooray) in the opening night for the Children’s Hospital of LA. Please check out the gallery's website over the following days for works still available for purchase online.

5.26.07 - LITTLE SQUARES PROJECT - I wasn't able to get out an announcement in time for this show took place at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art. See work from the project here.
