I donated a handful of prints to The Flammable Heart Exhibition which will provide financial assistance and support for patients with complex illnesses.
MarbleRoad is pleased to announce the first annual National Health Center Week showing of The Flammable Heart Exhibition from August 7-13, 2011. The second week of August each year is dedicated to recognizing the service and contributions of Community, Migrant, Homeless and Public Housing Health Centers in providing access to affordable, high quality, cost-effective health care to medically vulnerable and underserved people in the US. The Flammable Heart Exhibition will highlight artwork in which the artist and/or piece has been inspired by a health care experience.
The exhibition features original artwork, new and old, and in a variety of mediums and formats by: Ewelina Ferruso, Daryll Peirce, David Foox, Marissa Tamari, SIT, Sarah Folkman, Michael Marsicano, Julie Gidion-Smith, Jessica McCourt, Meredith Towsand, Teresa Marchetti, Vesna Jovanovic, Sa'idah Durkee, Teagan White, Melanie Miller, Maribel Pagan and many more!
